This Privacy Policy explains what information OverdueDesk ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, business name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
• Business settings: sender name, email signature and payment instructions you choose to add.
• Invoice data: customer names, customer email addresses, invoice numbers, amounts, dates and payment status that you enter, import or upload.
• Generated content: follow-up messages created in the app and their sent/unsent status.
• Usage data: counts of AI actions for plan limits, and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the Service.
• Billing information: handled by our payment reseller, Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive or store your full card details.

2. How we use information

• To provide the Service: track invoices, calculate payment status and generate follow-up drafts.
• To manage your account, subscription and usage limits.
• To provide support and send important service notices.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data, and we never email your customers.

3. Uploaded invoice files

When you upload a PDF or image, it is sent securely to our AI provider to extract invoice details and is not stored by OverdueDesk after processing. Only the details you review and save are kept.

4. Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Vercel (hosting)
• Our AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) for invoice reading and message drafting
• Lemon Squeezy (payments, as Merchant of Record)

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Each account's data is isolated with database-level access rules, so users can only access their own records.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete invoices and drafts at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email us and we will complete the request within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Contact us to make a request.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
